The Klonderee Competitions

Eight brave scouts and 3 adults camped overnight at our District's Klondoree, and they all had a blast! Nicholas Hartawan volunteered in the staff kitchen to help keep the volunteers fed, and the rest competed in multiple outdoor events with other Troops. Our scouts. affectionately named the Funky Monkeys, took first prize in two events. Thanks to everyone, especially adults Erick S and Dan T for their outstanding contributions during the weekend. Erick even fabricated a sled for the scouts to use. And everyone loved the Jumbalaya that Sharon S prepped in advance, yummy. Our scouts will be talking about this for a long time.
